On behalf of the monastic community, I am pleased to announce that Jian Huang has been appointed by me as the new fractional Director of Marketing for Subiaco. Jian brings with her a wealth of education and experience in the fields of marketing, communication, creative writing, and planning. Over the course of the next few months, Jian will continue to immerse herself in our life on the Hill through her presence at our Abbey and Academy events. Many of our students, faculty, monastics, and supporters already know of her through her presence in our Chinese classes, our parish church, and our community events. Our Abbey is truly blessed that God has called Jian to partner with us in our mission and ministry. JIAN'S BIO: For more than a decade, Jian Huang has worked with clients to design and implement tailored marketing and reputation strategies through her agency, pH Collective. Her clients include the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, LA Food Bank, New York Times bestselling author Sam Quinones, and award-winning movement coach Jean-Louis Rodrigue who recently directed Margot Robbie in Barbie. A writer in her spare time, Jian received the Emerging Voice award from PEN America in 2016. She is a novice homesteader who lives in Paris, AR with her husband, her mom, and an assortment of farm animals.
