Monks of Subiaco would be assigned for service in Belize for varying periods of time. This was especially the case with a new policy of Abbot Raphael in the summer of 1976. Abbot Raphael would assign various monks to spend shorter periods of several months at Santa Familia Priory helping in whatever way they could. These "short-term" stay monks would begin with Brother Jude Schmitt and Brother Henry Fuhrmann due to their mechanical and building skills. Listed below are the years of service of the "long-term" monks, as well as their photos.
