Over the past year we have noticed that heavy rains found their way into our Church above our St. Benedict devotional chapel. After lots of research, we realized that our bell tower was welcoming the rain into our Church due to wear that has occurred over the years. As a result, we now are faced with an unexpected bill of over $200,000 to repair our tower with new point and tuck work, along with the scaffolding that must be installed. It will take one month to install the scaffolding, and then another 2 months or so to complete all the required work on our tower. Our tower is 132 foot 7 inches tall, and has had no major work done on it since 1958 when it was constructed. So, if you visit then expect some major construction (not to mention our ongoing repairs from all the tornado damage). UIOGD!
