SOLEMN PROFESSION OF BR. SEBASTIAN RICHEY, O.S.B.

SOLEMN PROFESSION: On Saturday, July 8th, we were blessed to watch Br. Sebastian Richey make his solemn profession as a Benedictine monk in our ancient and venerable monastic order. During his time at Subiaco, Br. Sebastian has already worked as our Brewmeister for our Country Monks brewing, producer of monastic products, Confirmation Retreat Master, Academy residential life, Academy faculty member, and served at Camp Subiaco. Being a monk avails you of a number of work assignments for the Abbey's apostolates, rather than spending your life in only one trade or discipline. The Abbot has recently assigned Br. Sebastian to seminary studies at St. John's School of Theology and Seminary in Collegeville, MN. Congrats to Br. Sebastian! UIOGD!
